Introduction
This page lists the contents of all user-submitted survey entries.
Entries are listed by manufacturer and then model. For each model,
the number of entries submitted and overall rating is displayed.
Click on the model number to display all entries for that model.
Ratings
Each user feedback entry provides information about a particular
model of a radio. By using this information we are able to rate each
model om a scale of 100.
60 points are allocated based on the 'Buy again?' rank (No=0,
Maybe=20, Probably=40, Definitely=60) while the other 40 points
come from the 'Overall Rating' (multipled by 4).
The rating numbers provided below for each model are the average
for that model (add together all scores for each feedback entry
then divide by the total number of entries for that model).
Obviously, the more entries that are submitted for a particular model
the more its rating will be indicative of how well that model has
been received by the hobbyist community. When choosing a prospective
receiver, this information will be invaluable for steering you away
from the undesirables and toward the gems!
