Glenn Cohen from
Scanners Unlimited
talked to the president of AOR USA and passes along the following info
concerning AOR's demo of their upcoming APCO P25 decoder at Dayton.
This device will be roughly 2"x9"x4" and operate on 12 volts DC. For
its input, it will need a 10.7 MHz IF signal (available from AOR's
high-end receivers) from which it then decodes APCO P25 digital
signals and sends the audio to a built-in speaker.
This product has not yet been given a name but it is expected to
arrive for sale in roughly 4 - 6 months.
Thanks for passing along the news, Glenn!
