Introduction
Having written a number of reviews on the radios and equipment I own, I have
received a lot of letters from users who have used this information to purchase
merchandise as well as receiving their own opinions. I saw this information as
an opportunity for everyone to voice their opinions and share it with the rest
of their fellow radio monitoring hobbyists.
So please, take just a few mintues to write up a little something that could go
a long way towards helping a fellow hobbyist pick the gear that's right for
them.

How To Contribute
If you would like to make a contribution to this effort to enhance this hobby
for everyone, please provide the following information :
- Name : Real or alias
- e-mail address : optional
- Experience : beginner/intermediate/advanced/expert
- Product : common name for radio/software/book/etc.
- Type : radio/antenna/book/software/accessory
- Opinion : your honest opinion
If you would like to remain anonymous, simply provide an alias instead of your
name. Be sure to use the same alias for all your opinions so people can form a
base reference of your postings.
Supplying your e-mail address is optional. If you do offer it, be ready to
receive e-mail from people who wish to discuss your equipment with you or
praise/flame your posting!
I would like to see honest opinions on what you send in. No flames, no
rantings, etc. No bashing of manufacturers or dealers. These don't help anyone.
And I'll be more than happy to delete them.
Provide whatever info you feel is helpful. Here's a few pointers to get your
started :
- Try to be as objective as possible.
- What do you like and dislike about it?
- Compare and contrast it to other equipment you own or have owned.
- What could be improved?
- Is it a good value for the price?
- Would it be more useful to the beginner, expert or does it appeal to
all levels?

Give a final summary as to whether you would recommend this product or not. If
you wish, come up with your own rating system like most reviewers do for books
and movies.
Remember, article length is not important. Content is. Write as little or as much as
you want. Just remember that, "This one is good!" isn't terribly helpful to
most when try to decide if they'll part with their hard earned money!
