From what I understand....The Pro-92 & Pro-2067 PL tone search is instantaneous -- itdisplays when the user keys their PTT button.The BC780XLT is something else. I don't have the radio yet,but read the above post and people will tell you.If you have the Pro-92 & a 780, you can put them side by side,and let the 92 do all the work!
