I live within four blocks of a hospital with pagers MetriCall 453.1250,158.70,158.10 pagers. My 895XLT is fine on the VHF but suffers bad on a outside antenna and attic antenna on UHF.Not a problem on 800. The 895 I have is a very early edition. I had a later edition and it was real bad on VHF and UHF on the same antenna. I think they started using a different front end on later models that resembled the 890 which was paging heaven.So I put in line a cheap RS adjustable TV attenuator and it helps. |
