Keary, I'm having the exact same problem.. after about 10 seconds of inactivity on a Motorola system (haven't tried another system yet) the radio will automatically say "SCANNING" and will re-acquire the data channel. Maybe this can be changed but I can't find anything in the manual about it! Perhaps it's designed to do that (i hope not). The signal strength I have on the system I'm monitoring is full scale-- and the radio re-acquires the same freq. for the data channel each time. Pogo I did try your suggestion to make sure all freqs. in the bank are in "trunk" mode, no luck. |
