Why you should not buy a 780

IF you are happy with a TTI or TTII such as 235, 245, or 895... IF you can live without Alpha-Tags... IF your significant other would raise too much hell... DON'T BUY A 780 Everyone else, GET ONE--DO IT NOW! The scan list feature alone is worth the price of admission. Yes, there are 10 lists of 10 ID's PER BANK! If all ten banks conntain TRS, that's 1000 ID's... now we're talking about real organizing power. Compared to, say, my PRO-92 (100 ID's only) this is sweet. Since 100 ID's aren't enough for a large TRS, with the PRO-92 I resorted to programming the same TRS in multiple banks and limiting content by agency--that really sucks, compared to the 780. I believe very few will be disappointed with this radio. It's really dynamite paired with WinScan780 (and the other software titles to follow, I'm sure). Todd Indianapolis
