That's right, in Australia, the 800MHz trunk frequencies are in the band 865 - 870Mhz, so a US model 245 (or 780) wouldn't accept the cell-blocked 869 - 870Mhz frequencies in a system. The 245 would still track the system fine, although transmissions that went to the cell blocked frequencies would be missed. |
