I'm still confused. there is a photo with the discriminator tap point which normally would be used for the data slicer connection, but Greg also shows a "data slicer output" which confused me. Is the data slicer output just a better place to tap the discriminator for a slicer (which should be called a data slicer input), or is there some sort of built in data slicer that can be tapped at that point?
