On a whim, I called Durham Radio of Canada to see if perhaps, THEY might have the 780 in stock.And YES, they do, @ $369 plus S/H.(That's U.S. DOLLARS!!!)
Best part is, they told me they have a large shipment currently sitting in Akron, OHIO (USA), and, that living in Youngstown, Ohio (about 45 miles away), I'd have it in one day!!
Ordered it late Wed. evening (about 4:45 PM EST)and they advised would BE HERE by FRIDAY!
If you absolutely MUST have one right NOW, they DO have them.You likely wont get it as fast as I will where you live, but at least you wont have to wait for vendors who have taken "pre-orders" and then make everyone wait for a year or so.
