Computers are one of the biggest RFI/EMI generating problems
in radio land these days. Some are better then others. Yours
sounds like a BLASTER. This is what you can do to minimize
emmissions.

Get a better designed shielded case. They can make a big difference.

Put ferrite chokes on all leads comming out of your computer.
Radio Shaft sells them (273-105) but charges an arm and leg for em.
You can sometimes buy them cheap at ham fests.

Use shielded cables for every lead you can. Even power! Leads
act like antennas.

I run my computer next to all my sensitive radio gear and can
not hear a difference when it is on or off. My case is made by
Antec. Best cases I have ever seen. I use chokes on everything.
My power cables are shielded and grounded. Monitor too!
