Fellow TrunkTracking Enthusiasts,I wanted to take a moment and thank "Pozilla Software" for creating their WinScan 780 Demo Computer Control Software.
CONCERN:
When starting the 780 DEMO software, the user receives the following message:
This is a DEMO version of WinScan 780. It is fully functional with the following exceptions:
1. "You are limited to 30 minutes per session".
Yesterday, I used the 780 DEMO software for the first time.
I chose to program 100 Talkgroups into our 1F36 Orange County
(/\/\) MOTOROLA Type II SmartZone Trunked System.
While programming the talkgroup names and ID's, 60% into the session, my 30 minute time limit expired. Sadly, the software did not give me the option to save my work, and all of my programmed talkgroups were lost...and 30 minutes of programming time.
A suggestion for the WinScan Development team, would be the option of allowing the user to save their work at the end of the 30 minute session time limit.
