Addtl question to control channel trunking

Can someone explain in some detail exactly what each of the four 'plans' are and 2) how it each 'plan' affects the way the scanner behaves? I'm PRESUMING that the 4 plans might be Mot-II, Mot-I, Mot-I/II, etc etc, but I'm not sure. Greg Knox? Rich Barnett? Rich Wells? Any takers?
