800mhz woes in Mass 780XLT question

Hello.... Please assist me before I pull what few hairs I have in my head out....
I have programmed in all the Mass State Police 800mhz freqs as follows
troop a & H in bank 1
troop c in bank 2
troop d in bank 3
Now when I try to trunktrack the scanner locks up on the data Channel of each system !
I never had this much trouble with my "old trunk tracker".
Any suggestions?
