I reversed the multicoupler ports between the 895 and the 780. The 780 was still deaf in trunked search. I also made it so the 780 was the only radio active on the multicoupler, same results.I connected the 780 directly to the antenna, and the 780 was still deaf in trunked search.
The whip still provides the only reception for this radio.
I don't understand it, but perhaps I will email Uniden.
