Thanks Rob for the input. I've determined that if you have "000 000" programmed in as a FIPS code (my attempts to
clear out a FIPS code I'd previously stored), it will alert on EVERY wx warning that gets sent out. Once I took the "000 000" out,
the radio stays silent as it should until it hears the proper FIPS code. Good grief, who would have guessed. Nevertheless, it was
operator error. Thanks to a BAZILLION alerts toned out today by Ft. Worth, I've been able to verify this!!
