How did I miss this? I can't believe that Uniden has preprogrammed in the service banks again. I have a BCT7 and I can't stand having to switch service banks when I go from Ventura to L.A. County. Once I switch from say HWY to Police it starts scanning preprogramed freqs!!!! I have to play with it every time to get MY programed channel back on hold. This is one thing I love about Radio Shack scanners. I program in what I want and I can roll through channel after channel without having to go past 500 freqs I don't monitor. What good is the VFO control with the set up of the BC780? What am I missing here?Please keep in mind that I don't have one yet and I'm not as knowlegable as most of you in the area of radios.
