Uniden will never admit to having any faults in the scanner, thus it will never get fixed. To fix it, as well as several other 'bugs', would require a firmware upgrade... the only way to do that on the 780 is to replace the pc board... the chips you need to get at are under the epoxy coating... not a very good idea for releasing bug fixes!

Many times I like to have just one talkgroup active - 'attention all car' is a good example - especially if I'm going something else and not paying close attention to the scanner.
