Well, I hate to be a party pooper, but I found something in the first 2 minutes of use taht has made me really unhappy.
On frequency 155.500, I'm picking up what can only be descibed as a "5 bar on the signal meter birdie". It bleeds all
the way from 155.48 to 155.52. This is with the stock antenna. I can get rid of it with the anttenuator, but that is
not the ideal solution. What makes it worse is, I have to PD's which I listen to on 155.49. On a positive note, the
audio is much better than I expected after reading some of the posts here. It's not very powerful, but enough if you're
using it as a base. For decent sound though, you must keep the radio's feet up.
