When you are done using Trunkstar then use Procomm + or another terminal program to connect with your 780. I have found that both the Squelch Auto Reporting and the Trunk ID Monitor appear to be in an on state on the 780. I am still investigating the reason for this as I use several of my own programs also.

You can restore them to the original state "OFF" by issuing the follwoing 2 commands to the 780. "QUF" to turn off the Squelch Auto Reporting and "IDF" to turn off the Trunk ID Monitor Auto Reporting.

See if after you do this it then works ok with W** program.

Happy Scanning.

Wayne.
