Adam,I downloaded the demo version of WinScan780 today, 12/26. I hope to have a BC780 soon. When I ran setup I got an error complaining that some files need updating. I am using W98SE. I am always concerned when software wants to "update" common files used by other programs. Can you tell me why it needs to change these files and how much risk there might be to it causing conflicts to other programs? Are these DLL's certified, if there is such a thing, by Microsoft?
I am looking forward to using your program and I plan to buy the final version when it is available.
I also sent this to your support email ID but was having trouble with that email.
Anyone else having this problem? Did you allow the program to update your files?
