While enough for home use, I found it it not enough for my needs
in my vehicle.
Audio fidelity if middle-of-the-road. I would not call it poor
or bad. But I would not call it good. It is sufficient but it's
lack of low-end and very high-end is apparent when tuning the
FM broadcast band.
As per your model comparison, I personally like my 895 audio but
don't think the 780 is as good (either in power or fidelity).
Those who use a 780 at home might think about an external speaker
with better fidelity and those who use it in a vehicle will want
to think about an amplified external speaker to compensate for
both power and fidelity.
