I guess the 780 was developed to upgrade the 895 and the 245. I have the 245 and while it is still a great H/H model I enjoy the 780's features. With the 780 you can set the delay to 1 sec., 2 sec., 4 sec., Infinite, -2 sec., -5 sec., -10 sec., or None. The two line alpha tag and Ltr trunking are great features. Overall I am very pleased with my 780 and so far have not had any complaints except that the priority still won't work in conventional scanning while in trunk mode. Otherwise, it's a great radio. |
