Good comments about service. That is the problem when doing mail order. For now , there is a big demand on the 780 and the price isn't likely to drop....at least for a while. If in the SF bay area, I certainly prefer Glenn at Scanners Unlimited. Yes, he sells them for 369 BUT that includes plenty of tech. help. I did this with him on my 245 and he spent nearly an hour with me on it. Since I get paid $24.00 @hour at my job. I figure that is what my time is worth . If I spent time programming directly from the owners manual , it would have taken me 3 to 4 times as long. So it was worth the extra bucks . I also believe in keeping my money in the local economy. |
