Re the mobile issue: I am sure I could get the permission of one of the CLEOs in the area, I know a couple. But its a big hassle to do so since they are really busy people and probably wouldn't be to keen on the idea of siging that (for PR reasons), but if I buy them lunch I am sure they would. What is the realistic penalty for NOT having it? Who is going to check? Who is going to care? How much hassle is an amatuer radio license to get?
