I brought in somebody who knows nothing about scanners and asked their opinion on what
it sounded like at 1:00 on the dial. The person said that it sounded like crap.
They used the "sh" word, not crap. There is no way for me to compare my unit with anybody else's
unit. Maybe I have a bad unit?BTW, e-mail was sent. BTW, if my unit is bad, then this unit would be great if other units have good audio.
The one second delay is my only other base-use gripe. I didn't want to sound like sour grapes.
I wanted to be critical because I assumed 90% would be positive and my negatives were
aimed at the most critical of users. As of now... this unit is very poor because of its audio.
And with the 1 second delay, I'm better off with my 895.
