Has anyone had any concerns about this mode, when comparing the transmission accuracy to a 245, with regard to hearing the complete number of transmissions.Here in Orange County, Florida, we utilize a 28 Channel Analog MOTOROLA Type 2 SmartZone System.
Page 57 of the 780 manual, references 4 "Control Channel Only" trunk Plans. Our system does not match any of the plans, though resembles plan 1 and plan 3, which I have chose to experiment with.
Our system posesses the following last 3 digit configurations:
050, 100, 125, 350, 375, 550, 575, 600, 625, 800, 825, 850, 875.
When comparing a control only talkgroup transmission to that of a programmed 245 talkgroup transmission, I find that the 780 misses some transmissions, on what I presume are frequencies other than what are in the selected plan.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
