Hey all! Please don't take our silence as a sign that we have been ignoring everyone, as we have been busy completing WinScan780 and making sure that everything is 100% correct for the final version (including working very closely with our beta testers and demo users). I want to thank everyone for their time, patience, and input while we worked overtime to get this program into production. The final version of the demo will be posted tomorrow afternoon for you to download.
I have taken the time to read about the sound card problem, and we have extensively tested that feature here in our offices, and our beta testers have extensively tested this feature as well. Make sure that the you are plugged into the speaker out on the scanner, and not the tape out, and that have the line going into the Mic In on your sound card. Also make sure that the Mic Input is not muted or turned down (click on the speaker icon in the system tray), and finally, make sure that no other software is utilizing the sound card and that there your default wav recorder is Windows Sound Recorder/Media Recorder. We have found that unpredictable results happen when using 3rd party (non-Microsoft) wav recorders.
