Yep, Sly said some 450MHz LTR "overflow" channels were not sending
out blips...this is a new one on me...could complicate things. I
don't see this on 850 MHz though...
For phone patches, just go by content...sounds like cell (did I say
that!)....same old crap... blah-blah-blah.
ESAS info seems elusive but check recent thread (Patent#). All
I know is blip rate is 1 per second, and ESAS sends individual IDs
which 92/2067 don't decode but otherwise tracks like LTR... don't
know about 780....can you find any channels in your area and check out?
Another trivia bit, one local LTR system TG's are linked to VHF and
UHF simplex channels....something to do with on-site communications...
may be the exception.
