If anyone has read the manual, do you know how the tone lock-out function will work? Will it work in either search or scan? Can you simply lock out one tone or could you lock out several for a given frequency or search range? I know that Probe users even have a provision for what I will call "carrier squelch only" mode. (My term, not theirs.) It essentially will allow the channel to not be monitored unless the signal present has no PL/DPL.
