I have a BCT7 and a BC780XLT and I have them setting side by side and have them hooked to the same antenna and the bct7 receives a better signal than the bc780. I thought that the bc780 would do as good as job or better on the conventional scanning. There is sometimes that the bc780 will not recieve a transmission at all where the bct7 will. I also have a GRE Super Amplifier 3001 from Radio Shack and I was wondering if the Uniden 004 Amp is better? Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.
