When I try to download data from my 780 with WinScan, several things happen:
During the download, the 780 display flashes (very quickly) "NOT REGISTERED" in the top alpha line as it steps through the channels.
After the download, talk groups are offset in WinScan by 4 (i.e. 1-1 in the 780 shows as 1-4 in WinScan) and the first 4 TGs are empty OR
The talk group ID's are completely hosed, showing parts of the alpha tag as the ID itself and other junk data.
Frequency data shows alpha-tags of "0000 TF DF LN A" with a PL of 71.9 set for all non-programmed channels with some variation for frequencies that have been programmed.
I have the latest WinScan demo version...The scanner itself works GREAT - showing all data correctly etc. What's goin' on?? Thanks,
