Sorry I misquoted you.But technically, the speaker WILL NOT "fire" towards the inside of the radio ANY MORE with reversed polarity than when the polarity is "correct". That is physically impossible. There will ALWAYS be the same amount of audio "firing" towards the front or rear of the speaker regardless of polarity. This is easiest to confirm with electrostatic loudspeaker designs. Electrostatics do not have a cone, but a FLAT driver. As a result, the audio level is EXACTLY the same in front, or behind the speaker with the cabinet off. Changing the polarity of the speaker CAN NOT change this.
There is more audio "firing" to the front of conventional designs due to the cone. Not the polarity.
