I got the 780 up and running and found that the 780 holds onto the control
channel for at least 1 second before going on to the next bank. This is bad!!!
As you know... the 92/2067 doesn't really stop on the control channel unless it picks
up a trunk ID. This flaw negates Uniden's scan-rate advantage.So, in my use (one trunk system and 50 or less conventional freq.), I can (at times) hear less
with the 780 than with the 2067/92 because I get a lot of short messages with the base and mobiles
being on different freq. in conventional mode.
In conclusion, is the 780 faster than the 2067/92? Not in my case.
That one second delay now makes the Pro 2067/92 a lot faster.
