My opinion falls in between, but tends toward Rich's for the following reason: you may not know what you're missing beyond those 10 channels. My suggestion: surf the web for pages that specialize in frequencies and communications in your area (starting with Altavista and searching for "michigan police frequencies" will lead you down some rich paths), and if it looks like there is a world of radio transmissions unbeknownst to you currently then upgrade your unit and enjoy. |
