I use the Diamond RH77CA at home and in the office. I am very satisfied with its performance on the 780XLT. I monitor several 800MHz Motorola Type I, II, and IIi TRS's, some from as far as 25-30 miles away, in both office and home, and the construction of my office (old building with lots of concrete and rebar) and location of my home (valley) are not exactly conducive to good monitoring. Coventional VHF and UHF do well also. The Diamond performs better for me than the stock Bearcat antenna. I've not had any experience with the Watson 889. |
