i have been using a radio shack desktop vox recorder for years plugged into the ext. speaker output to the ext. mike input of the recorder.i have to use the shacks attenuating cord cat#42-2152 $3.49 my recorder has been updated to cat#14-1126 $49.99 and now comes with the ac adaptor.the attenuating cord stops the recorder from picking up the sound of the scanner scanning which would constitly activate the vox.if you use the line output you might not need the cord |
