I'm afraid I got that description of the '780's multi-system trunking behavior wrong. Actually, at the expiration of a conversation the '780 will go immediately to the next system. What I was describing was how it reacts if you press the Search or Scan key. In those cases the radio jumps back to the control channel and then Scanning or Searching resumes in the current bank. If you press the Limit key instead, it will jump to the next system and then either Search or Scan as already selected. |
