The 780 does not have a remote jack output. Which makes me wonder what is the point in programming fregs or Talkgroups for recording. If the 780 does not have the capability of stopping and starting the recorder, it propably would be easier to just put the fregs/talkgroups you want to record into thier own bank/scan list at least that is my take on it. I have noticed that there has been a couple of questions on this and only to a couple of people have responded (You and myself) so it makes me think that so far this feature has been seldom used. I think I am going to try it later this week and see how it works. I'll post if I find anything out of the odinary.
