I have the RS thru the glass antenna and it is alright but not the greatest.
It does appear to perform better on the 780 as compared to my pro-94.(probably
has to do with the quality of the radios). Seriously considering
getting an antenna specialist antenna and mount it to the
bed of my truck. By the way I noticed that RS had replacement CB whip
material. It looked to be the same diameter as the RS mag mount
scanner antenna.
