Here is a neat trick that works great with WinScan and the
BC-780. You can cut and paste your talkgroup and frequency
IDs from Excel or any other program that supports text files.
Saves a lot of button pushing and dial twisting to get the
IDs programmed. The demo version only allows one bank to be programmed, but
when the full version is available, that feature alone is
worth the $69.95 price to me. Happy scanning,
