Now you can program tones into channels. Press MENU, choose Channel
Data, select the desired channel, select the Tone Data, select CTCSS
or DCS, select the desired tone. See the middle of page 15 for
more.

It should since they will most likely not use PL/DPL for these
type of transmissions.
