In my local, large motarola system for PD and fire, they tend to change the control channel, and the 245 does not "track" the change without turning the radio off & on, or going out of trunk mode temporarily. The only way you know is suddenly you are "not receiving"! Just got my 780 today, and I am hoping that the "control channel" trunking feature will end this annoying glitch.
