Just when I thought I had it figured out. I turned it on tonight and I have bank 1 conventional channels and a Motorola Type 2 800 system in bank 10. It goes into its normal scan and I put it in the usual search for trunking for new ID's. Everything is fine for a while. All of a sudden I get a Motorola ID that says ICALL 70257 but I don't here anything. Then it goes back to its scanning & trunking but now the SLASH DATA symbol is lit ONLY when it is trunking.Page Page 29 of the manual states clearly that Data Slash mode IS NOT available in TRUNKING! I can't get the indicator to shut off in trunking mode. I send pc commands TD and it returns TDF function off. I try Menu System Data Skip it says its off. When the scanner goes to its scanning of conventional freqs the data skip indicator goes off but as soon as it returns to the trunk bank 10 it is back on???
IM SO CONFUSED......
It does'nt miss any transmissions I just don't understand?
