This is STUPID!!!! Thats going to get someone killed. Why not just use Cell phones then? I don't know who implimented that in their agency but they need to be slapped across the face with a tire iron a few times. I find it hard to believe that the state police is dispatching calls via PC (motorola term for private call) this way other officers in the field don't know who's going to what. Are you sure its not just things like Investigations or special assignment units? I mean come on, who in their right mind would go to private dispatch in public safety, wouldn't you like everyone on your shift knowing your going to a domestic dispute? Or if you call in that you are stopping a vehicle with 2 or 3 occupants? |
