Shame on you Uniden, Greg Knox and Rich Barnett for letting this radio go into production
with its lousy audio! It's the worst audio I have ever heard and may be worst in fidelity than the Pro-94.
When I spend $370.00 on a radio, I at least expect to hear it with decent audio.
Your previous flagship: 9000 XLT, had poor audio, but at least when I "cranked it", It was okay in hindsight!You guys did a great disservice to every one of us hobbyist and I'll never, ever forget it.
The audio isn't fit for home use, let alone mobile use.
BTW, What good is a mobile unit when you can't control the ATT and the ID L/O while being mobile?
This radio is more hazardous to use than a Cell phone. I could overlook this if the audio was good.
What were you thinking when the BCT-7 has much better audio? There may be some good news that comes from this.... GRE should get it right the next time around!
