Was this a BETA model or production model?The original 780 proprietary manual had default pre-programmed fleetmaps or user settings. In the control channel only mode with the status bit ignore feature "on" you should hear all the talkgroups type i or II (or hybrid for that matter) without interuption of conversation. I don't think you could get the fleetmap automaticaly on a hybrid or type i system without days of monitoring the control channel data for all the talkgroups in use to give you an idea of fleets and subfleets possible in a given system.
