Greg,i saw a post where you compared antennas on
the 780,looking for best 800m reception.
I forget the length you said gives the best 800.
I think it was either 13" OR 18",which was it.
REASON WHY I NEED TO KNOW: I am mounting my 780
in my GMC YUKON. I am useing antenna specialist
hidden "scanner" and "factory radio" to factory
antenna adapter.
Stock GMC YUKON antenna is just a long steel rod.
I want to cut/snip it down for peak 800m,how long
does it have to be.
Your discriminater tap site looks like your antenna
comparison site,except no words,how do i goto your
antenna site,i for got how i found it.
What do you think about idea of cutting the factory
rod antenna down for peak 800.
