It is in the manual at the end of one of the sections on how to use the priority scan.
At first glance it really stinks. Then in retrospect I know I use another scanner or two for my priority stuff so it doesn't make a difference to me. I was more puzzled that I might be doing something wrong.
I also cannot get the channel alert to sound loudly. At the level it alerts, the audio way overmasks the alert. I'll have to try it on another channel....
